    1.   Online application submission through the SEO website
    2. Phone Interview*
    3.   Qualified applicants receive an email invitation to teach a demo lesson at the SEO office
    4.   Twenty-minute demo lesson observed by SEO staff

    6.   Reference check

    *SF only

  • What do you look for in a demo lesson?

We look for a student-centered approach to teaching; a rigorous and thoughtfully-planned lesson; questioning techniques that engage students’ higher order thinking skills; and a genuine interest in students’ thoughts and ideas.
